ETs Kevin Frazier spoke with Viola Davis about Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, which is in select theaters now and debuts Dec. 18 on Netflix. Davis opens up about acting with Chadwick Boseman in his final movie, and the life force she witnessed in the dedication to his craft. Davis says she wanted to create her interpretation of the famed singer on her terms, and that she loved reuniting with her Fences co-star Denzel Washington, who produced the film.
